Radcliffe’s “Harry” New Role

radcliffearmy.jpg
Daniel Radcliffe’s career keeps on growing – and so does his moustache!

The Harry Potter star appears in My Boy Jack, the story of how British author Rudyard Kipling’s nearly blind son, Jack, who went missing while in the Irish Guard, says Daily Mail:

The true story looks at how Rudyard Kipling used his influence to get his 17-year-old son Jack (played by Radcliffe) a commission with the Irish Guards, despite his son’s poor eyesight.

Jack went missing in action during the Battle of Loos and his mother and father carried out an ardent search for him, spanning many years and many miles of soul-destroying discovery.

And obviously Radcliffe’s going far to distance himself from the broomsticks and wizards of Harry Potter.

Hmmm…. From mega-blockbuster movies to full-frontal nudity in a British stage play to a historic drama…

Radcliffe’s not taking traditional teen stardom career path, I see. Good for him!

What? He ain’t gonna play a gay, meth-using hustler with a heart of gold who travels the country side with his best girlfriend who suffers from nacrolepsy? Isn’t that the usual way to show you’re an adult in Hollywood??

I love all the choices he’s been making lately. He’s also growing into his hotness.

How nice that they let him keep his Harry Potter glasses.

Thanks Paul. And doesn’t Radcliffe look like a young Hitler in the above photo? It looks like he’s prepping for a role in “Mein Kampf:The musical!”
