Rep. Steve King Wants To Take Away DoJ’s Allowance

How is Rep. Steve King, who thinks if you’d just stop being so gay at work you wouldn’t need ENDA, reacting to Barack Obama’s decision to call DOMA unconstitutional, and DoJ’s decision not to defend the law (while the government will still enforce it)? Threaten to defund the Department of Justice by the very same amount of money it would have spent to defend DOMA in the courts. The Iowa Republican, who has a dead baby dumpster diving date with Jared Polis, still has to do the math, but now that he knows DoJ doesn’t need all those funds to defend some silly law Congress passed eons ago, he can re-appropriate the dollars to making sure expecting mothers don’t purposefully have their babies born on American soil.
