Syracuse Transwoman’s Murderer: 25 Years
Dwight DeLee, the 20-year-old convicted last month of the hate crime shooting murder of Lateisha Green, received a 25-year prison sentence. DeLee apologized to Green’s family in court this morning, but maintains his innocence: “I’m no monster. I’m a young human being.”
Sickening that this was the maximum penalty afforded to the court.
