The Appropriate Timing of Sara Gilbert’s Talk Show Debut

Sara Gilbert’s new ensemble chat show The Talk will premiere on CBS on Oct. 18, smack in the middle of LGBT History Month. It’s lovely, you see, because Gilbert is making history! Of some sort!

Aren’t we a lucky marginalized group! We have a history AND pride month. How’d we pull that off?

I hope the show is good. She seems in a very good place in her life, and always came off as having a good sense of humor so will hopefully be a fun watch.

Since when is October our history month? Who knew? Not I. I just always went with June, and thought it sucked since it wasn’t during the school year.

I’m looking forward to the show! Sara Gilbert is a fine actress & in interviews I’ve seen, she’s very smart & funny. I don’t know if the show’s time-slot will be in direct competition with what I call “The Unviewable” but I hope Barabrara Walters will either revamp her show or put it out of its misery by canceling it !
