There’s a Perfectly Good Explanation Why These Chippendales Dancers Are Wearing Singlets
We have no idea whether these are real Chippendales dancers, nor do we know when this video was made. But we’re guessing it was pre-”Single Ladies,” given the clip includes someone pressing “play” on their VCR to get it started. While the women of the 80s had Jane Fonda to teach them how to tone those glutes, the men had an entire symphony.
Yes, they are. They used to sell “Fitness Videos” like this. Just like Davey Wavey.
I’m not sure which is more disturbing, the way it was done, the bowtie’s or the hair.
Showtime used to sometimes run short exercise breaks very similar to these during daytime hours between movies in the early 80s. They were slower and more sensuous but the hair here looks just as 80s.
