Hans Zeiger wants to be Washington’s next Republican State House rep. If only everyone would ignore his former claims that the Girl Scouts of America are nothing more than a lesbian-y feminist recruitment tool.
Like Christine O’Donnell, Zeiger, who is 25, would like to forget the extremist statements he made in the past. Like when he wrote in a blog post:
One might wonder why the Girl Scouts have been spared the painful attacks that have been launched upon the Boy Scouts by the Left in recent years. The reasons are simple: the Girl Scouts allow homosexuals and atheists to join their ranks, and they have become a pro-abortion, feminist training corps …. If the Girl Scouts of America can’t get back to teaching real character, perhaps it will be time to look for our cookies elsewhere.
Zeiger, however, has no problem with the Boy Scouts of America’s discrimination against gay scout masters, because hey, that’s just good fun. He’s also an Eagle Scout, which means he’s spent many years of his life working his way up in an organization that totally has nothing to do with the homosexual lifestyle — just the molesting one.
The Republican candidate has deleted as many as 50 posts from IntellectualConservative.com where he rails against the Girl Scouts — but only because they no longer represent his true beliefs and would otherwise serve as a distraction. Or a war tool for Democrats. Which it has, as this press release illustrates.
How about we take this to the next level?

What is Hans Hiding?
More than 50 Far-Right Blog Posts Suddenly Pulled from Website Zeiger has listed as his “job”;
Out-of-Mainstream views clearly a problem for 25 year old ideologue
PUYALLUP– More than 50 far right blog posts by State House candidate Hans Zeiger were removed over the weekend from the IntellectualConservative.com website, an ideological blog Zeiger had listed as a job. The now absent posts contained Zeiger’s controversial positions on many issues, including highly divisive opinions on public education, women’s rights, and religion.
Zeiger is running against critical care nurse Dawn Morrell, a mother and grandmother whose children are graduates of local public schools.
Alex Hur of the House Democratic Campaign Committee (HDCC) said that he and members of Morrell’s campaign team noticed the missing posts Saturday. “I have to wonder what Zeiger is afraid of people reading,” said Hur. “Why are these articles disappearing now, when more voters than ever are in favor of open government and transparency in their candidates and elected officials? Voters deserve to know what a candidate’s values really are.”
Hur continued, “If Zeiger truly believes what he wrote, like, ‘I spent most of my K-12 education at my local government indoctrination center… the typical public high school graduate moves into the world devoid of character, conscience, or courage’ and ‘the PTA is now more decadent than ever’ then he should live with his words instead of hiding his out of touch opinions from voters.”
(Quotes from Failing Public Schools; Intellectual Conservative, February 9th, 2004 and Save Oregon from Ginny Markell!; WorldNetDaily, November 13, 2004)
Zeiger is the author of a plethora of blog postings and two books, Reagan’s Children: Taking Back the City on the Hill and Get Off My Honor: The Assault on the Boy Scouts of America. In his various writings, he expounds on a variety of issues, including his deep appreciation for the Boy Scouts, and his obvious distaste for Girl Scouts, stating “If the Girl Scouts of America can’t get back to teaching real character, perhaps it will be time to look for our cookies elsewhere. (Source: Pro-Abortion Feminist Scouts; Intellectual Conservative, February 16, 2004)
Hur isn’t surprised Zeiger, who moved back to Puyallup a year ago, has focused mostly on federal policy issues instead of local concerns in his prolific writings.
“He’s a guy who hasn’t had to deal with the real life concerns of local families,” said Hur. “It’s okay to be an academic, but there is nothing academic about struggling to make ends meet when a job is lost, fighting an insurance company to get needed coverage, or standing up for vets when the federal government is slow to respond. Dawn Morrell will remain true to her record of service for the people of Pierce County.”

Holy Shit!! This guy is freaking nuts!!!
Rick Brannon
Pro-Lesbian, Pro-Abortion Feminist Training Corps?
Isn’t that the WNBA?
pete
Another day, another closet case.
L'Herbs
“Pro-gay, pro-abortion, ‘feminist training corps'”… Where do I sign up!?
Jack
Is there anyone, anywhere, who could – even just for a second – mistake the guy in the pic for a heterosexual?
Dan
So he’s anti-feminist because he’s a closet case and hates women since he cannot be true to his gay nature – that’s warped.
whatever
I think I saw him on the ‘men who look like lesbians’ website.
Dallas David
I’ll bet he’s a bottom.
ron
@Dallas David: Hell, I’d bang him. But only if he dressed up in a Girl Scout uniform.
Diz
Isn’t a “heterosexual” mans such strong dislike for women some indication to homosexuality?
But really…look at him! He’s a closet-case bottom hands down.
ChiGuy76
You know how you can look at someone and just for some unknowable reason tell that they’re gay (i.e. Ricky Martin, David Yost, Matthew Bomer)? You know like there isn’t one specific characteristic, just an overall look to them (i.e. Sean Hayes, Lance Bass, Zachary Quinto)? Normally, they don’t even have to open their mouths, you just look at them an you know (i.e. Jonathan Groff, T.R. Knight, Aaron Schock). Well this guy definitely fits the bill!

In my home town, it was widely known that the woman in charge of the regional Girl Scout stuff, who was probably in her 60s, was a lesbian. I knew this back in elementary school when the concept really was no more or less interesting than the fact that she was also from Germany and had a funny accent. (Mostly what it meant to me was that she didn’t have a husband and didn’t want one.) That didn’t stop people from signing their daughters up to be Girl Scouts. Those girls learned a lot of stuff, but trust me, being gay was not one of them.
I imagine it takes a certain… obsessive discipline to professionally pursue something like Scouting, as an adult. The woman in charge (I wish I could remember her name, but I can’t) was probably a lot more interested in analyzing cookie sale trends and organizing summer camp than indoctrinating baby lesbians to do her bidding.

All kidding I know, but unfortunately given the geography over here in Washington State . . . this assjerk is going to get himself elected. . . .there are three or four others that are even worse running in districts that have never (in the history of my state) elected anything even considered “moderate” or even “middle right” no matter how much money get’s thrown in that direction.
Vman455
Zeiger is running for the State House of Representatives, 25th District (representing a fairly conservative area ESE of Tacoma). Unfortunately, I live just outside of it–otherwise I would take pleasure in casting a vote for his opponent.
Jeffree
To neandertal men of his ilk, I just want to scream: “No one can turn anyone else gay or lesbian!” This myth that we “recruit” and “indoctrinate” is full-bore crazy, and flies in the face of all decent research.
It’s fear and hate mongering, pure and simple. It’s an idea that should have died out 30 years ago, but it still gets dragged out as a way to invoke fear & loathing, especially among the fundies.
Dollie
“…pro-abortion, feminist training corps…”
During my six years of scouting, this mission was never once referenced or made apparent. However, it certainly worked on me! Sneaky, Girl Scouts of America! Very sneaky! 😉
Aplus
What else is there to say to this idiotricy.
Jen
Jon, Vman455: Thanks for the info.
Surely the district can’t be all *that* conservative. There’s already a Democrat in the seat – Zeiger’s trying to unseat Dawn Morrell.
…and he can’t keep from appearing like an extremist.
“…Zeiger’s writings have turned at least one potential supporter against him. His former Republican opponent, Steve Vermillion, mocks Zeiger’s references to other faiths’ “false gods” in a letter to The News Tribune. Vermillion says he plans to endorse Democratic Rep. Dawn Morrell.”

Lookin good! Watch out for teh evil feminists!
Disgusted Gay American
why does he look like a Gay Porn actor?
patrick
It’s usually those sanctimonious ultra-conservative types who go home to the stocked toy chest and the sling in the basement. You just know he’s a screaming pig bottom!
DannyEastVillage
I agree with the above comments. This guy is way too pretty and way too concerned about this issue to be straight.
Vman455
@Jen: Compared to other places, like most counties in eastern Washington, no, it’s not all that conservative. But it is one of the few districts on the west side to be represented by one Republican and one Democrat at the moment. Even my district, which borders the 25th on its west and is full of trailer parks, low-income housing, and is mostly blue-collar (aside from the liberal bastion of Pacific Lutheran University in the district’s center, or the “Lutedome” as we call it), is represented exclusively by Democrats.
Dan
He screams frustrated top – sticking it to women to stay closeted while dreaming of men. Has to do it doggie-style to even make it with a woman cuz if he saw her breasts while doing it he’d barf all over her from the pent-up repression.
Ken
Well, I feel better now that reading all this that we are not taking this right wing wing-nut seriously.
Where do I donate to his opponent?
