Wall Street I-Bankers, Bridge + Tunnel Crowd Treated to Flash Mob ‘Die In’ At Grand Central
THE SHOT — The scene this evening at Grand Central Station in New York City at “Flash Mob: Homophobia Kills Die-In,” where “several hundred” took part in taking over the transit hub during the 6pm rush hour as the names of the recently bullied-to-death and murdered LGBTs were read aloud. Transit police say they arrested two people. [via Gay City News]
Bridge & Tunnel don’t use Grand Central as the trains from there only go to Westchester & Rockland counties and Connecticut. B&T commuters use Penn Station.
