Wall Street I-Bankers, Bridge + Tunnel Crowd Treated to Flash Mob ‘Die In’ At Grand Central

THE SHOT — The scene this evening at Grand Central Station in New York City at “Flash Mob: Homophobia Kills Die-In,” where “several hundred” took part in taking over the transit hub during the 6pm rush hour as the names of the recently bullied-to-death and murdered LGBTs were read aloud. Transit police say they arrested two people. [via Gay City News]

Isn’t that kind of a dumb place to choose to do that? Wall Street bankers and the bridge & tunnel crowd are already basically gay-supportive segments of society.

Bridge & Tunnel don’t use Grand Central as the trains from there only go to Westchester & Rockland counties and Connecticut. B&T commuters use Penn Station.

What makes you think Ian isn’t some hot young medic? (Besides, whatever his age is, he’s right). Anyway, when this group does something like this right in the heart of homophobic territory, like at that White Castle on Staten Island, I’ll be impressed.
