To every angry right-winger who thinks the gays are an insidious bunch of recruiters set to destroy the moral fabric of our youth, please note: sometimes all it takes for a kid to express his fabulous, potentially emerging gay self, is a Karaoke machine and a green screen. And to the aforementioned nut-jobs, if you can watch this video without catching a wave of positive energy emanating from the unfiltered, unapologetic self expression, then there really is something wrong with you. To everyone else, enjoy and happy pride month!
I was doing the same thing back then, only I was like 20. Oy!
·
That made me so happy after the bad day at work. thanks.
·
I think this is wonderful. So proud of someone who could do this back in 1991. WHen I was 9 my father would have locked me in my room for the rest of my life if I had done that. This freedom for children to express themselves and avoid a life of hiding and lies is magnificent. And I am sure has saved countless lives from suicide.

I am so torn.
Video and dancing were done well. The kid has raw talent. I remember what it was like to be young and have a desire in the heart burning to be expressed.
But when I see children making sexually suggestive moves I cringe. Do they really grow up that fast? I also think that kiddie beauty pageants are disgusting. Hell, I’m embarrassed when I see a teen acting adult in a high school production.
I remember in the early 90′s how the neighbor girls (aged around 10) would be outside singing “Like A Virgin”. I would wonder if their immigrant parents knew what these kids were saying.
If the law says that it’s a crime to have sex with minors then why are children pushed to act like adults before their time?

BRAVO! BRAVA! What a talented young man. My heart just soared when I saw this. I can’t even walk and chew gum at the same time. MUAH!
·
what about the left-wingers who who thinks the gays are an insidious bunch, why do the get another free pass?
·
Yes. And I saw a picture of him now. Kinda of a lil hottie if I do say so myself….(and no this is not him)
·
I wonder were that kid is now today? Did they grow up to be a dancer?
·
I tried but, in the end, I smiled. A lot. Thanks!
·
This is so funny. You better WORK Miss Thang.

@directionless: name names goproud troll. god, you people are vermin.
·
@delurker:
I am not “directionless”, and normally I avoid politics because its divisive and pointless, but here I had to come to his defense.
1) Its GOProud
2) “god, you people are vermin.” That’s mean. A little political diversity within the gay community is a good thing.
3) Most (almost all) major political policy issues fall into one of three categories; social policy, economic policy, and foreign policy. Obviously gays who are socially right leaning are self-hurting, but there is no reason why that needs to effect an individuals view on economic or foreign policy. Most people, including myself, are pretty moderate, even right-leaning on these issues.
4) I don’t actually know of any bigoted remarks made by members of the left (and by “left,” I mean politicians who are generally left of center on average.) Left-leaning politicians tend to be good about being supportive, though I’m sure that there are some anti-gay left-wingers out there because I cannot imagine that there isn’t at least one leftist who isn’t prejudice.
5) Lets not forget why were on this page; an adorable kid by the name of Robert Jeffrery (who indeed grew up to be quite hot!) put this video of himself on vimeo – and for good reason it went viral. God, I love this site. PRIDE! PRIDE! PRIDE! PRIDE!
