What Did Rue McClanahan Use Her Secret Passageway For?

Before Golden Girl Rue McClanahan passed away after a stroke in June, she was planning on selling her East 56th Street NYC home, which has 13 (!) closets, for $2.25 million. The apartment even has a secret passageway — in case she and Sofia needed to away from being imprisoned at Shady Pines.
