When College Students Boycott Marriage, Does It Make a Sound?

It doesn't have the slick production edge of an Apple commercial, or even a National Organization for Marriage ad, but the National Marriage Boycott's student-driven grassroots appeal to Barack Obama has heart. I'm boycotting celibacy until the Catholic Church says gay priests are okay.

I don't like how some of these arguments go for the whole "civil unions don't have the same rights" argument. The anti-gay marriage folks can just say "okay, make the rights the same" and what happens… you still are stuck with a "lessor-but-equal" arrangement. Go for all or nothing! Don't worry.. all *will* be what you get.

It's really easy to create an account. I think I'll create a group for my school on the website and start getting people to take the pledge!
