Why Won't Maine's Sens. Snowe or Collins Reveal Their Question 1 Vote?

Is it curious that neither Republicans U.S. Sens. Olympia Snowe nor Susan Collins will reveal whether they voted for or against Question 1 in Maine?

Both senators voted by absentee ballot, but just like they did in the run-up to today's election, neither would reveal whether they voted for or against discrimination. "I have never taken a position on state referenda," Collins tells Huffington Post. Snowe, meanwhile, says she did mark a box, but noted the issue is "for the people of Maine to decide."

Both of these candidates were endorsed by HRC.

Im not the biggest fan of Sen. Snowe because she comes off as cranky and opportunistic/status quo to me, but she does usually support us.

And we're winning by giant ass margins right now, btw. Bangor Daily news reports 72%, or 1500 vs. 592, thus far.
