Brent Corrigan announces breakup from fiancé J.J. Knight

Brent Corrigan has taken to Twitter to share the news that he and his (ex)fiancé, fellow adult performer J.J. Knight, have called it quits.

In a post sent out to Corrigan’s 248K Twitter followers, he said:

My heart is heavy as I share the news that @JJKnightXXX & I are no longer taking on the world together. All the good in JJ will shine bright now that he has chosen make a new life for himself. Please be considerate of our privacy in the meantime. Thank you.

The two announced their engagement in 2017, when Knight said, “It’s true we don’t have it as easy as ordinary couples, but I can promise you that this is no ordinary love! He is the man of my dreams, and I am proud to call him my fiancé!”

Putting aside the privacy paradox, the positive tone of Corrigan’s update suggests this to be an amicable conscious uncoupling.

Knight shared a more cryptic message.

Without additional comment, he posted a video for Dua Lipa and Martin Garrix’s song “Scared to be Lonely”:

Knight also had some words for a commenter on Twitter who asked of Brent’s post:

Knight responded:

Words to live by.
