Coming out to the people you love is one of the hardest leaps of faith you can make, but it also offers the greatest potential reward.
But few people are faced with a situation where they must come out to their significant other, while still hoping the relationship stays strong and continues to grow.
That’s where 19-year-old Parker Grey found himself when he broke the news to his girlfriend that he’s transgender.
“I’ve had to come out twice in my life. Coming out as a lesbian wasn’t that difficult, but coming out as wanting to transition with someone I had just started a relationship with was a harder process. However, I had to to be honest and live my truth,” said Grey.
