Larry David handled his SNL hosting gig like a pro, but there was one sketch that was just a bit too extra for him.
Interestingly it turned out to be a sketch packed with more gay subculture lingo than all of our Pride weekends combined.

This skit basically appropriated (black & latinx) gay lingo in an effort at humor for a wider audience. And it fell flat, which was hardly surprising.

That was so funny but unless you watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or are a circuit queen, you didn’t know that skit was a spoof of Erika Jayne. I think there were a lot of confused people on that one.

I’m not a fan of Larry David’s work. Don’t think he’s funny. But this sketch was hilarious. I don’t know all the lingo or when to use it. But if I ever get lost I can watch this video again and again and again, hunty!!! 😀

Circuit party days are way behind me, and not a fan of RH anywhere. Larry David….other than his Bernie Sanders bit on SNL rates a big MEH imho. I got all the gay-speak lingo from Drag Race. I thought the sketch was “hylar-ical”. (A Braxton-ism.). I have given it a few replays too.)
