Many men suddenly hungry after Queer Eye’s food guy Antoni Porowski breaks up with his boyfriend

Joey Krietemeyer, Antoni Porowski

We’ve long known that Antoni Porowski, the food guy from Queer Eye, had “a boyfriend twin” of seven years named Joey Krietemeyer. But it seems the guys have called it quits, meaning Porowski is now on the menu for many carnivorous gay and bi men.

Us Weekly recently revealed that the couple broke up two months ago. Their source said, “It was very amicable. They’re still friends. It was a clean split.”

Of course, the cooking guy from Netflix’s reality makeover show knows how to make a clean split — knife skills, yo. But it’s a surprising turn of events, especially since Porowski once described them as “basically married,” with Porowski cooking Sunday dinners for Krietemeyer’s parents. (We assume the dinners involved lots of avocados.)

The two lived in a 600 square-foot Brooklyn studio apartment, beautifully decorated by Krietemeyer, which is unsurprising seeing as he works as the director of creative services at 1stdibs, a retailer of antique and modern furniture and art.

Krietemeyer’s Instagram currently displays a grand total of 12 pictures on his Instagram page (with none of  Porowski). Meanwhile, Porowski still has some photos of Krietemeyer up. Let’s take a look at a couple.

Breakups are sad, but Porowski can stay busy working at his newly opened New York City eatery, at least until the next amuse bouche comes along.
