Talk about a power couple.
Former LA Galaxy footballer Robbie Rogers married his betrothed, teen TV mogul Greg Berlanti, in what we can only assume was a lavish and highly Instagramable ceremony.
Berlanti is the creator of the hit CW super-shows Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl, not to mention his humble beginnings on a little program called Dawson’s Creek (remember when James Vanderbeek was a thing?).
The couple has been engaged since December 2016.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Decked in Zegna tuxedos, Greg’s father and Robbie’s mother gave the duo away in traditional fashion at a seaside Sunday ceremony.
“Still recovering from the most emotional beautiful day, exceeding any dream I ever had,” Robbie wrote on Instagram.
“To marry the man I love in front of all of my loved one’s was not something I grew up thinking would ever happen. Thank you to the men and women who made this day possible.”
And while there aren’t any photos of the ceremony (do we smell a People Magazine exclusive?!), Robbie shared this completely adorable shot of his gorgeous fam:
On the day of the wedding, Greg shared a photo of Robbie and Caleb, writing:
“There are two decisions I’ve made in my life that I’ve never been more sure of or that have made me happier.
The first was becoming a dad, the second is happening today with this man.”

Congrats. I’m concerned though. Coming out, partnering up with Berlanti and having a kid in less than 4 years is a lot. Why the rush? I understand Berlanti at 45 settling down, but has Rogers experienced enough to know what he wants after being out such a short period of time?

What happened to his television show that was only going to have “normal” gays in it? Maybe the producer husband is going to make it happen now.
Paco
Oops sorry… he said he wanted “very masculine” gay men for the show.

Supergirl is hardly a “hit CW supershow.” It bombed badly on CBS and is currently struggling to find an audience on CW. Viewers are complaining about it’s liberal politics. Read the comments in the below article.

I hope they’ll always be happy and in love.

That wedding picture with their son would make a great PEOPLE cover. But I won’t hold my breath.

I’m sure Greg’s money had nothing to do with Robbie’s decision to marry him. Robbie’s salary at LA Galaxy is about 100k, poverty in Los Angeles.
