Imagine a world where all fathers were like the three you’ll see in the video below. Oh, how far we’d have come.
But watching them talk about their gay kids, it’s incredible how simple the equation is in their hearts — love, love and more love. And isn’t that how it should be?
And OK, the inspirational background music does help well up a tear or two.
Watch below as they discuss fathering gay children, and read the coolest children’s book we’ve ever heard:
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

cheers to all the dads out there who stand up to proudly and loudly declare their love and support for their LGBT kids.

So cool and the kind of demonstrative loving a gay kid needs!

There are some really great dads around. Personally, I think most men understand that male sexuality can be something that doesn’t always fit the straight and narrow.

Terrible book. Typical stereotyping of gay people as bourgeois, artistic, white, professional men.
Cool dads though. I think straight men have to have self-confidence and security with themselves as men to be able to accept and support their gay sons. Granted, it was an earlier generation, but mine didn’t have it. He wasn’t homophobic or abusive; he just didn’t know how to be my father.

@jason smeds: That’s the least insane thing you’ve ever written. I don’t agree, but it’s not crazy.

Idiotic book. The title itself is stupid using a demeaning word like “poof”. Then it goes on to teach kids that “poofs” can be expected to grow up to be a certain type of stereotype. What dangerous rubbish to teach children. We wouldn’t put ALL heterosexuals in a cute, neat box and gay people shouldn’t be put in one either.
