Discrimination got you down? Need a Monday morning pick me up? Then check out “Allowed to Love.” It’s a short, sweet love song written by a 12-year-old girl named Chance and uploaded to her dad, Eric’s, YouTube channel.
Eric writes: “‘Allowed to Love’ written, recorded, video and edited by my daughter. Written for her uncles, about the belief that we all should be allowed to love whomever we want no matter the gender. From the heart!”
“We all want the same thing,” Chance sings. “We want to have love, no matter who it is. You are allowed to love.”
And that pretty much sums it up, doesn’t it?

It’s a beautiful thing in the world when the biggot generation is dying out, and ushering in a new generation of good hearted people.

Yes, I agree. I’ve noticed an open mind and a good heart walk side by side.

After almost 54 years with my lifetime partner, married going on 12 years, it is wonderful to see people learn and evolve to accept us as normal human beings. I remember back in the day when the news media reported us as being monsters that hid in the bushes in the park and sexually molested young boys.
