WATCH: Two bears steal the show when one pops the question

Not everyone gets to become the European bear of bears, but one man is here to prove we’re all deserving of love.

Gabriel Yalda, a 26-year-old make-up artist from Austria, just bear-ly lost the title at this year’s Mr. Bear Europe competition in Cologne, coming in at a respectable runner-up.

But he certainly won over the crowd with what happened next.

Yalda got up on stage and popped the question to his 48-year-old partner, Csaba Toth. (Tot also happens to be Mr. Bear Hungary, for what it’s worth.)

And wouldn’t you know it — he said yes!

“I was super nervous, because that was just before the final – no one knew about my plans, and I hardly knew what to say, just because of nervousness: the choice and the application,” Yalda told queer Asutrian website GGG.
