South Africa track star Caster Semenya is too upset and “mentally tired” from all that genetic testing and your speculation to finish her exams at the University of Pretoria. “Fortunately,” says her coach Michael Seme, the school “understands her problems. They have made it clear to hear that exams are the last thing she needs to worry about right now.” The first thing she needs to worry about? Scoring offensive endorsement deals!

Really tasteless title, Queerty.
I understand her problems as well. Finding out that you aren’t considered the gender you always thought you were in the middle of a world-wide media frenzy would be incredibly painful. I wish her well and hope she finds a bright future.

Wait so does she have testicles or not?

T.L.: Non of your business.
And this stupid headline is just offensive and childish, like a lot of things at Queerty.

Caster Semenya is going through so much right now and the only thing this website can do is make fun of her. Indeed, this is tasteless and offensive. You would think Queerty would have an understanding when it comes to the fluidity of gender, and intersex people. I wonder…would Queerty still post this tasteless title and have a little respect for Caster if she was a White European or White American?

@Cynthia
I don’t see any reason to throw around charges of racism because of an insensitive title. Queerty’s managed to do the same thing to someone of just about every color, gender and sexual orientation.
Crying racism (or homophobia) at everyone just waters down the real meaning of the term. Save it for those who deserve it.

@Cynthia
Most likely not.

Semenya is fab and the sooner she get’s back to running the sooner I will be cheering her on – all the way – Semenya RULES OK!
