Charlie Crist Isn’t Sure If He Supports Gay Adoption Because It’s The Right Thing To Do, Or A Court Told Him So
Charlie Crist used to be in support of Florida’s ban on gays adopting children. But now that he’s no longer a Republican, he’s suddenly against it — and now that the law has been struck down, will leave it alone. But speaking before the Palm Beach Post‘s editorial board, from whom Crist would love an endorsement, he gets all sorts of confused about when and why he decided to get behind you faggots raising kids. Apparently he actually doesn’t support your right, just the court ruling which says he should. Alas, he’s had this problem before.
It’s obvious that Charlie “Closet Case” Christ has painted himself into a corner. Just look at how flummoxed and tongue-tied he is. Trying vainly to split hairs between what he “really feels” and what “the law says.” This man is so self-tortured that only coming out of his already crystalline closet will liberate him from the chains of the internalized homophobia that rules his life, beard-wife and all.
