San Diego’s city council’s got some serious decisions to make. Or, rather, Councilwoman Donna Frye’s got serious decisions to make.
The California politico and her peers will be voting today on whether to push the state’s Supreme Court to pass gay marriage.
Last time they voted, Frye used her power to tip the 4-4 balance against a “friend of the court” brief. Frye said voters weren’t given enough notice before the vote. Gay advocates are hoping she’ll have a change of heart this time around.
