Back in April, Janet Jackson announced her Unbreakable World Tour would be postponed since she was working on “planning” a family.
Now, it appears Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana “planned” properly: PEOPLE reports she’s expecting her first child at 50.
So far, all the star has said about the pregnancy is: “We thank God for our blessing.”

Get over it. There’s no rule that you can’t get pregnant at 50. It’s riskier and that’s the only reason most women stopped having children so late in life. Just because we’re aware of the issues women face having children over 40 doesn’t mean their eggs dry up before menopause. Learn how the female body works and take a seat.
