‘Lost’ Gets Gay

We don’t want to give anything away – and don’t really understand any of the details – but a Lost character “came out” last night. And he’s evil! [AfterElton]

That’s sorta old news. Tom came out when Kate was undressing and laughed saying “You’re really not my type”…but yeah it was a bit more spelled out with the high class manhooker in the penthouse suite. God Bless ABC/Disney.

It’s not old news, Jesse. He didn’t “come out” when he said that to Kate, it was just a hint for the viewers. He still could have been straight, and she just wasn’t his type. Last night was a big deal because he actually explicitly came out.

Besides all that, in the current time line he’s dead. This was a flashback. So he qualifies a dead gay charactor currently on TV. Don’t forget Boone came out as bisexual after he was dead. Does this mean on LOST they do not have to worry about the christian right back lash if they only come out after they are dead. Kinda like the 80′s where all the Gay charactors on TV Movies were dying of AIDS. You know, let’s feel sorry for them but they got what they deserve.
