McCain Folk Get Riled Up About Gay Nups

The specter of gay marriage made its way into a McCain campaign event in Tennessee this week.

A concerned voter argued that we need to “discuss” gay marriage in the context of infidelity and other nuptial nasties. She went on to say that the government must make it harder for people – all people – to get married.

McCain of course understands this woman’s worries and believes in the “unique status” of marriage being between one man and one woman. And he vowed to fight for that belief, which got the audience all hot and bothered. The gays could be a national issue after all!

That question was clearly a dig at McCain’s past infidelity. I wouldn’t be surprised if the questioner was really a lesbian posing as a gay-marriage foe in order to surreptitiously highlight the lack of sanctity of McCain’s marriages.

Whoa, that even got a standing ovation. It’s really kind of sad that these people have made themselves enemies of the gays.

Yeah, let’s see McLame spew about the “sanctity of marriage” with that adulterous, homewrecking, drug-stealing plastic Stepford Wife Cindy standing by his side. I can see the Dem attack ads already. Get your popcorn, folks! Hypocrisy can be fun!

McSame will be fundraising in a white racist New Orleans suburb tonight, I’d love to see queer protestors show up in Vitter diapers and tell McSame to tell us all about republican FAMILY VALUES.

McCain’s openly gay Chief of Staff and registered lobbyist, Mark Buse must just love hearing about these speeches.

Marriage should only be between a man and an heiress.

They’re republicans, of course they’re going to give a standing ovation to the promotion of homophobia. Just because people applaud to words doesn’t mean they’re right, look at Tyra Banks, who gets a standing ovation in her show everytime she says something stupid.

All these people sit in Church on Sunday morning and talk about God’s love.

Then they spend the rest of the week propagating hate.
