McCain’s “Spiritual Guide” Spouts Shit

John McCain recently described Cincinnati-based pastor and notable homophobe Rod Parsley as his “spiritual guide”. Could this be another bid to realign McCain for social conservative consumption or just bad politics – or both?!

Enjoy this video of Parsley’s anti-gay madness. It’s great for a hangover!

Nice. This coming from a man who blamed his congregation for the fact that his child was born mentally handicapped. He said his congregation didn’t pray hard enough for his wife in her pregnancy.

Matt, that’s pretty wild coming from a man who claims to heal the handicapped during his services. I’d love to hear more. Please drop me a line. josh.collins at gmail dot com.

Parsley is a rare bird: a authentically heterosexual homophobe. It makes me wonder which queer peed in his cheerios.
