The gays do love their applauding, so they gave Sen. Al Franken some when he met with Minnesota’s consortium of a dozen and a half gay rights groups, who are in love with him.

If you ever listened to Al while he was on Air America (RIP) he is quite intelligent, well read, and could give any rightwing lunatic nutbag a severe verbal bitch slap. Those Senators who thought they were going against Stuart Smiley are in for a rude awakening…..He is a great advocate to have on the Gay side….

as a teen in the 70′s and witness to the SNL explosion I have crushed on Al for 30 years. He is smarter, funnier and hotter today. Sure I spend a few chicken hawk moments on Andy Samberg, but Al is my one true FANatical love.
