PHOTOS: People Of Faith March For Marriage Equality In Washington State

PHOTOS: On Sunday, a multi-denominational assembly of more than 200 people marched through the streets of Seattle in support of Washington United for Marriage and Referendum 74, the ballot measure approving marriage equality in Washington State.

The group—which included Lutheran, Catholic and Methodist contingents—proceeded from Central Lutheran Church to the King County Administration Building, where many dropped off their ballots. “The outpouring of support from the faith community has been incredible—delivering hundreds of volunteer hours but, more importantly, making clear that people of faith support the freedom to marry,” said WUM campaign manager Zach Silk.

So the next time someone tries to tell you real Christians support “biblical marriage,” just forward them a link to this page.
