He has talked about his relationship on GMA. He just doent bring it up all the time. The other three on the show have mentioned it as well. He is not in the closet!
When he joined GMA I thought there was some sexual tension with Chris Cuomo. Then the two of them were separated for weeks with each one alternately being on assignment. Now they seem to have come to an understanding and can work together on camera.
This is the first time I’ve heard ANYTHING about Sam being out publicly, I don’t watch GMA regularly so I wasn’t aware of him or his co-hosts talking about his relationship. I guess Robin Roberts still keeps quiet.

Scott, I thought the very same thing. There seems to be some sexual tension or whatever you wanna call it between Sam and Chris. It’s one of those things that someone with gaydar would detect. I am usually right on the money when I pick up on something like that. I think it’s just a strong attraction, that possibly turned into a good friendship, as Chris is ostensibly str8 and is a Sunday school teacher. What????? You go Chris!!!
