While we like when celebrities come out for gay rights, we have to raise a skeptical eyebrow at Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's pledge of support for same-sex marriage.

Some of you may recall the couple - who are famous for no particular reason other than that people like to trash talk them - endorsed John McCain's presidential campaign.

That said, it should come as no surprise that Ms. Montag echoes Republican running mate Sarah Palin's "choice" perspective. Said Montag to Marc Malkin: "I think it's your own choice. I think, you know, whoever you decide to marry—boys, girls, whatever you like—it's up to you."

Meanwhile, Pratt chalks his inclusive attitude to his girlfriend's "glam squad:" "Heidi's hair and makeup people are my favorite people in the world and they happen to be gay. So if they wanna go marry each other, good for them." Well, at least it's better than nothing, right?

"Comic Lisa Lampanelli got serious - sort of - at the N.Y. gala for The Trevor Project, which provides free suicide prevention via a hotline for gay and questioning youth. "I'm deeply saddened at gay suicide," Lampanelli said. 'Why them? Why not the cast of 'The Hills'? That I'd like to see. Heidi and Spencer, go off yourselves!'" [NYND]

At first we were angry to hear that lesbian funny lady Ellen DeGeneres allowed Heidi Montag to grace her famed stage. Then DeGeneres redeemed herself by admitted she doesn't watch The Hills, which makes her one of about a dozen people left on this planet who have televisual standards.

Watch as Montag talks about her nemesis, Lauren Conrad, her totally vile boyfriend and paving the way for her father's ascension from hell…

Totally useless The Hills "personality" Heidi Montag recycled a dress for the White House Correspondents Dinner. And, shockingly, there were no visible cum stains. Those are way nineties! [Jossip]

» Heidi Montag's Sad You Don't Like Her Music Video

'Reality' spawn Heidi Montag apparently can't take all the bad press and mean-spirited send-ups of her music video. "The negative responses…humiliated Montag. 'I just started sobbing uncontrollably,' The Hills star tells Us… I just couldn’t understand why people I didn’t even know felt the need to be so cruel and hurtful toward me.” It's called tough love, girl. Now you've learned not to have your putz boyfriend direct your music video. Unfortunately, we get the feeling you haven't learned the ultimate lesson: stop singing. [Jossip]

We have a sinking suspicion that Joel McHale, who hosts The Soup on E!, may be a complete and conceited shit head, but he's still our number one crush in his time slot. Watch as the alluring funny man sends up tramp Heidi Montag's atrocious new "music" video, "Higher".
