The Return of Sally Kern

sallykern-1r.jpg
Sally Kern’s back! The Oklahoma lawmaker, who gained national prominence for her anti-gay stance, lashed again yesterday, this time trying to awkwardly justify her hateful ways:

Tuesday’s remarks were made at the Cleveland County Republican Club where she once again repeated her opposition to gay marriage and homosexuality. She opened by saying she was a “cultural warrior for Judeo-Christian values.”

“I am not saying everyone has to be Christian; this is not a homogeneous nation,” Kern told the audience. “What you have to be is someone who believes in a Judeo-Christian ethic, in other words, in knowing there’s a right and wrong.”

“Not all lifestyles are equal; not all religions are equal,” she continued. “Was I saying all people are not equal? Heavens no; we were all created equal.”

Some are just more righteous, right Sally?

Nothing breeds friendship like having an “other” to hate. Christians and Jews alike can hate on the gays with impunity. Sally drives her point home at the “Republican KKlub” in Oklahoma.

Yes, Sally, it always comes down to my god is better than your god. But, perhaps you’re right, all religions aren’t equal. Although all are ridiculous and based on delusions and myths, some are more ridiculous and malignant than others. All religious people are crazy people, it’s just a matter of degree. You really don’t have to be religious to know right from wrong, you just need to be able to think rationally. Is is right or wrong to burn witches at the stake, torture and murder those who do not accept a specific religion’s god or doctrine and to pit people against one another due to belief or lack of belief in god? Yes, we’re all created equal Sally, but what you want to say is some of us are created more equal or are much better than others. Bigot, hypocrite, cretin.

Typical religious wacko talk. Now it’s not good enough to be religious, it has to be the RIGHT religion. We need to start taxing all organized religious groups (not individuals)so they can start paying for the damage they’ve done to this country.

Ms. Kern:

After a brief lunch meeting with God, I made him aware of your most recent attempt to undermine his authority. He is most displeased. Nobody likes it when you steal their job (specifically to pass judgement on individuals), not even the almighty. Just because you don’t like the idea of “Judge not lest ye be judged” doesn’t mean you can go in and undermine portions of God’s job. Due to this infraction, he will be putting a reprimand in your personnel file.

If you don’t cease your current discrimination practices, you’ll be put on probation. A third infraction, and you will be sent immediately to a fiery, icy place in hell(yeah, that’s right – sitting on an iceberg with fireballs raining on your head. It’s hell. It’s not bound by physics, logic, or anything else).

Sincerely,

“What you have to be is someone who believes in a Judeo-Christian ethic, in other words, in knowing there’s a right and wrong.”

So much for all of those Muslims, Buddhists, Animists, Hindus and others. None of those religions count in a non-homogeneous religious culture.

My god can beat up your god.

This woman is still a wacko.

this is why I moved from Cleveland county to Queens county, the most ethnically diverse county in the country. Oh, and it’s 1,500 miles away from Sally Kern.

““What you have to be is someone who believes in a Judeo-Christian ethic, in other words, in knowing there’s a right and wrong.”

Uh….do you want your “NO” prevised with “OH HELL” or “F*CK”,,,huh Sally?
Right and Wrong are no more determined by Jewish or Christian beliefs, any more than they define red or blue. MILLIONS of people on our planet figure out right and wrong without any assistance of either Judeo or Christian faiths….or any faith at all.

Then your saying “not all religions are equal”…can’t they just throw you out of office for renigging on protecting the Constitution?

Judeo-Christian ? I remember a couple of decades ago these Oral Roberts influenced nuts were anti-semitic, claiming Jews killed “their lord Jesus”.

“cultural warrior for Judeo-Christian values.”

The Judeo-Christians are always at war, endless war. There is never peace, even amongst themselves.

But her “judeo Christian values of knowing between right and wrong” are HUMAN values of respect that people have KNOWN ABOUT since before Christianity. The concept of right and wrong did not stem from that religion, thats what pisses me off about these evangelicals, they think all good, clean, whitebread values stems from Jesus…it doesn’t, it’s a human trait that SOME of us just have, and others don’t. bitch.

In the past two months, Sally Kern has brought (or attempted to bring) a loaded firearm into government. buildings.http://www.tulsaworld.com/news.....ancl823373
Not once. But TWICE.

The damage this person does with her mouth frightens me to think what she would do with a gun. Then again, most Republicans aren’t for gun control in the capital (the dangling modifier makes it punny).
