What if the Karate Kid had to fight homophobes? That's the question asked in a new independent movie, The Sensei.
Alright, it's not that exact question – that would be copyright infringement! – but the movie tells the tale of a teenage boy who turns to karate to defend himself against his small town's anti-gay thugs. Reads the movie's tag line" "You have a right to defend yourself against hatred… And self-hatred." Indeed.
