We were lucky enough to catch Sheldon Larry’s musical Leave it on the Floor at the London Gay and Lesbian Film Festival back in March. Combining elements of Rent, Paris is Burning and Glee, the film explores the burgeoning world of L.A.’s drag ball scene with humor, depth and, of course, fierceness.(When are we gonna get a serious ball queen on Drag Race?)
Floor has some of the sickest tracks and dance moves we’ve seen in ages—not surprising since Larry got both Beyoncé choreographer Frank Gaston Jr. and her music director, Kim Burse, on board.
Go on and get it when it dead drops on DVD on August 14.

Drag Race pales in comparison because Ru doesn’t like being upstaged.
