So are these the tees âsocialiteâ Jonny Makeup is designing for American Apparel? Or just a fortunate coincidence that the basics apparel company has updated its line of queer-friendly tees from just âLegalize Gayâ to these two new designs?
Thereâs âPair at Gay Paradeâ (âA pair marches down Santa Monica Blvd. in the West Hollywood Gay Pride Parade, 1984â) and âAnti-Homophobe Rallyâ (âProtestors outside an Anaheim hotel in 1989, holding signs to silently demonstrate their opposition to homophobiaâ), both featuring newspaper photos from the times.
All we need is a âGo Fuck Yourself, Phelpsâ hoodie and weâre good to go!
(Thanks, Jerome!)
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

I’d love to know the reason for the Anaheim hotel demonstration… considering it’s the home of Disneyland, a rather gay-friendly place… and a scant few miles from my house.
Anybody have anything on this?

Nevermind… the Traditional Values Coalition is based in Anaheim, CA.. I drive by it everyday.
