Bryan Fischer, our favorite mouthpiece for the homophobic American Family Association who happens to have had same-sex “impulses” and a love for black men, is now taking aim at ABC’s hit sitcom Modern Family because of its progressive depiction of a gay married couple raising a child.
In an interview for a right-wing radio show in Idaho (and they’re always in Idaho), he just couldn’t get over the fact that the gay married couple continues to be portrayed in an absolutely positive light and apparently not for the deviants we really are.
“The portrait there that’s being presented is designed to make you think that same-sex households are wonderful, they’re loving, this is paradise, this is the optimum nurturing environment for children…You know, that’s the danger.
It’s just like getting a little bit of poison over a long period of time, eventually getting enough accumulation in there where it can be kind of lethal to the organism. It’s very corrosive; people are just watching TV to be entertained, not realizing that their view of life is being twisted in a way that’s very harmful to them and harmful to our culture.”
Perhaps someone should point Fischer to the study that found children raised in same-sex households to be happier and their families closer than those of married hetero couples?
Or maybe he could ask one of the two million children being raised by LGBT couples across the country how they feel about his comments.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Either way, it doesn’t matter. We wouldn’t want to poison his fragile little mind with the truth.

Fischer is close: RELIGION is poisoning America: deluding it, robbing its people of money, and elevating the stupidest people to positions of prominence.

Pedophiles, demons, vampires… we’ve been maliciously compared to many things, but I think arsenic is a new one.

I suppose there is always the chance that venom spewing hate mongers might be poisoning our culture but I am sure that is a long shot.

The Repubtard Texas legislature tried to ban gay/lesbians as foster parents a couple of years ago – UNTIL they learned that if they did, about half of the foster kids would not have foster care in Texas.
They tucked their tails and backed down. “Not prudent” as G.H.W. Bush might have said it.
I amazed that you found this video in Idaho, and that someone even brought it to light. We’re EVERYWHERE ! We were beginning to think that Arizona might be the new Texas, and we could ship Rick Perry out there (don’t let his cool new hipster glasses fool ya – he’s about to run for president AGAIN).

Bryan Fischer is funny. No one actually believes this clown. He speaks for a minority of people now in our country; he’s great to get people to see how ridiculous these views are! I love it. Keep up the good work for gay rights Fischer.

Walking toxin Bryan Fischer knows all about poison. He probably doesn’t realize all he does for gay rights, just by spewing his venom.

How can you start off a headline “Bryan Fischer thinks”? He doesn’t. That’s his problem.

He is right. The so called “”””study”””” that is supposedly to demonstrate that children in same-sex households live in the world of Disneyland and unicorns while those in normal households are greatly suffering is a complete fabrication and should be outed like that and with many other liberal propaganda lies as well.

Troll Alert! Don’t feed it.

@AnitaMann: They start the headline that way so most readers will know not to waste any more time on the article (unlike us, apparently — can’t look away from a train wreck).

Just look at the man’s FACE. It has the rigid, CRAZY look of any psychotic lunatic. His manic BLANK eyes, his goofy self-righteousness — has are classic DSM (Diagnostic Service Manual of Mental Disorders) signs of the severely disturbed. He looks JUST like the crazy, screaming “end of the world” JEEEEEE-SSSSUSSSS guys on any urban street corner, deafening all passers by with their crazy, using a MEGAPHONE.
So why is Queerty giving an E-Megaphone to this guy? BOOOORRRRRRIIIINNNNG

Everyone’s so busy with the latest phone and thing-a-mah-jig, that only a history major can come to your rescue, bmwblonde.
I hate to say it, but no one reads the important stuff anymore.
At least you’re reading the DSM, but you’ve gotta USE it the right way, honey!

Is the comment about him having a tendency toward homosexuality and an interest in African American males honest? Or was that simply rhetoric. If it is actually a known fact whatever modicum of respect I ever had for him – ok there was none — but now he goes into negative territory.
