“Susan Arnold, a business trailblazer who is leaving a top job at Procter & Gamble Co., is expected to draw interest from consumer-oriented companies seeking a CEO, including Sears Holdings Corp. and Playboy, according to today’s Wall Street Journal. Arnold will step down from her position as Procter & Gamble’s top female officer, and serve in a special assignment until September, the company announced today. She has served as president of P&G’s global business units. If Arnold took a CEO job at a Fortune 500 company, she would be among just 16 women at the top of such a company and the only openly gay CEO of a major U.S. public company, the Journal said.” [CST]
