We knew it was only a matter of time before some conservative wingnut tried linking the Ebola virus to gay people. Yesterday, TruNews radio host Rick Wiles (pictured) did just that, Right Wing Watch reports.
“Now this Ebola epidemic can become a global pandemic and that’s another name for plague,” Wiles said, in typical alarmist fashion. “It may be the great attitude adjustment that I believe is coming.”
He continued: “Ebola could solve America’s problems with atheism, homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, pornography and abortion.”
And just how can this severe acute viral illness do that?

Wiles explained: “If Ebola becomes a global plague, you better make sure the blood of Jesus is upon you, you better make sure you have been marked by the angels so that you are protected by God. If not, you may be a candidate to meet the Grim Reaper.”
Ebola is transmitted through close contact with the blood, among other things. Somehow making sure “the blood of Jesus is upon you” doesn’t seem like the smartest way to prevent oneself from contracting the virus. But, hey, what do we know?

@Damich: No worries, there’s no such thing as a god. Humans created it in our feeble minds who couldn’t deal with the harsh reality of life.
If there were a god, it would’ve struck down these hypocritical asswads thousands years ago and made damn sure they never come back. But, as it stands, there really is no such deity.
