25-year-old Austrian drag queen and Eurovision 2014 winner, Conchita Wurst, received the coveted Premio Madrid Orgullo Muestra-T pride award at Shangay Pride, Madrid this past week. The award, a pink teddy bear statue holding onto his nether-region, is given to people who play a positive role in the struggle for gay rights in Spain.
“I thank all these recognitions and awards are a sign that people perceive that everything I do comes from the heart,” Conchita said after receiving the award on Thursday at Hotel Me in Madrid.
Expectedly, Conchita looked flawless at the award ceremony in a short white dress with a slim black belt cinching the waistline and perfectly complimenting her thin figure (see photos below).
