It’s unfortunate that in their desperation, Clay Aiken fans would take a sarcastic retort that I made in response to their ludicrous assertion and construe it as a statement of fact. Again, there was never a legitimate recant made by me nor will there be. I stand by the story as reported by the National Enquirer and as told by me on the Howard Stern Show.
Clay Aiken had an opportunity to address the claims I made back in January 2006, but declined. Instead his management and publicist refused comment when asked by several media outlets if the allegations were true.
In interviews back in September 2006 with Diane Sawyer, and Larry King, when questioned whether or not he was gay, Clay Aiken declined an opportunity to provide a direct yes or no answer. In an interview given to ‘People Magazine’ in the Fall of 2006 he was once again asked the question and again he chose to equivocate and not give a definitive yes or no reply.
His current refusal and equivocation to the question provide credibility to my assertions. Those using his 2003 Rolling Stones interview as evidence of his heterosexuality do so in desperation.

First of all, the church did not say that Clay wasn’t welcome. Visit their website and you will see a totally different picture. They are delighted that he is holding a concert in their church.
This whole story is coming from one person who is a Clay stalker and attention seeker that keeps contacting the National Enquirer in hopes of getting his picture in the paper and hoping for a career in porn. Unfortunately sometimes it works because the NE isn’t smart enough to know what he’s after and they like to publish sordid stories regardless of whether they are true or not or what kind of depraved person they are coming from. You need to visit some other blogs that tell the real story of the stalker. You can start with Chexxxy’s Pearls and LiesBiteBack. There are also many links to other blogs that will enlighten you. His recant was not sarcastic. It was very sincere. He suddenly realized that by telling the truth it meant no more interviews, nor more offers, no more dirty money coming in. Check it out you will see there are many more lies he has been caught in over that last two years. It’s a shame that people are still listening to him. He is a disgrace to the gay community.

Even if Clay Aiken was a straight man it’s said he would choose to perform at a church which discriminates. I’m deeply sadden that he even schedule a performance at a church which aggressively campaigns against gays when he has both openly gay friends and employees. This demonstrates a either a total lack of respect or desperation.
One has to wonder whether Clay Aiken would force his two African-American back-up singers to perform at venues sponsored by white supremist. The whole situation is really sad.

If JP would quit telling lies to the tabloids and if people with gossip blogs wouldn’t spread his lies then there would be no reason for “these people” to bother you or this site. I agree; don’t talk about Clay. It’s an easy solution. A meeting between Clay and JP on the date and time JP has stated was an impossibility; therefor, a lie. When JP started his lies he stated that Clay was 5’8″ which is about 5 inches off the mark.
JP, you are caught in lie after lie. You and your little band of supporters from the Kelly Clarkson Express and Soulful Ruben tried your damnedest to get a concert cancelled with phone calls, emails, letters, calling newspapers, etc. but it didn’t work so you went to the tabloids.
What’s your problem. This concert is at a venue; Clay does not go to that church; he’s not attending church services…he’s giving a concert because that was the available venue. You try to make everything he does about YOU. He’s straight which means the he’s just not that into YOU.

Dear Claymates, you do Clay no favors by descending en masse on any site that mentions him and defending him. He’s a big boy, he can defend himself if he wants to. But, honestly, there is no defense that I can think of against playing at that particular church. I read their literature, they are a hateful place, and, even ignoring his own sexuality, I don’t understand how he can make the gay members of his touring party play there.
