Vehemently anti-gay pastor Donnie Romero has been forced to step down following his involvement in a sex scandal.
The holier-than-thou former pastor was ordained in 2014 for the Stedfast Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. While he was there, he often ranted against homosexuality and openly celebrated horrors like the Pulse massacre.
Of the Orlando victims, he said:
“These 50 sodomites are all perverts and pedophiles, and they are the scum of the earth. The earth is a little bit better place now.
I’ll pray that God will finish the job that that man started, and he will end their life, and by tomorrow morning they will all be burning in hell.”
On LGBTQ people in general, he once had these kind words:
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
“I’m not going to let any of these dirty fa*gots inside my church. They are all pedophiles… They’re always trying to rape and hurt other people. They’re relentless.
They are predators and given an opportunity to snatch one of your children, they would do it in a heartbeat.”

In what should come to a shock to no one, the man railing against how other people should live their lives wasn’t exactly practicing what he preached.
In a sermon on January 2nd, Romero revealed he’d be stepping down as pastor but was vague on details.
“I’m stepping down as the pastor of Stedfast Baptist Church,” he said, crying. “I haven’t been ruling my house well. I’ve been a terrible husband and father.
“I’m very sorry for the hurt this may cause people. I’m so sorry, I love you guys,” he added.
Another pastor who initially ordained Romero, Steven Anderson, filled in some of the story in a video posted to YouTube, shedding light on the “grievous sins” the disgraced pastor had committed.
“I’ve got some really bad news. Unfortunately, pastor Donnie Romero has stepped down,” Anderson said.
“This is devastating for people and people are heartbroken about it,” he continued.
“Basically, the major sin involved was being with prostitutes,” he revealed. “Then there were also marijuana and gambling.”
And somewhere in the hall of fame of disgraced antigay hypocrites, another nail just went in the wall. It’s getting awfully crowded in there.
PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS
Yet ANOTHER vile, abhorrent, noxious, reprehensive, hyprocrite, lying, smcubag, motherflocking, piece of thit with arms, legs and a head stuck into it……

They were totally ok with the murder of innocent people but drew the line at consensual sex and marijuana. Too bad I don’t believe in hell because this church of scum would be in it.

Exactly how I feel. If I believed in an afterlife that guy would burn. I’d be happy to see him arrested for illegal conduct: prostitution, gambling and marijuana use. I checked and all of these things are illegal in Texas. I personally have no issue with any of these things but would love to see it used against him.
Kangol
No surprise whatsoever about yet another Christianist hypocrite. None whatsoever!
James
He should kill himself.
Polaro
Nasty, out of work, man.

“I’ve been a terrible husband and father.” You’ve also been a terrible person, leader, role model, and ambassador for Christ..

How very true…

It just goes to show you that the ones who are the most vocal are often the ones most guilty. I don’t give a crap about him hooking up with hookers, what disgusts me is the HYPOCRISY of it all. With any luck he’ll also have to spend some time in jail.

Let’s place a bet that his preferences were for transvestites or transgendered prostitutes that were well-hung.

He should be dead instead of the Pulse Victims, he’s a waste of space.
