Take this with a grain of salt: A disturbed man in Tokyo allegedly had his genitals amputated and then cooked and served them to paying guests, reports the Daily Mail.
Asexual Mao Sugiyama, 22, charged guests $250 to sup on his penis and testicles (garnished with mushrooms and parsley) and listen to a piano recital. (Police supposedly investigated but found nothing illegal going on.)
Sugiyama, who initially planned to prepare the dish for a single diner, tweeted:
‘I am offering my male genitals (full penis, testes, scrotum) as a meal for 100,000 yen (£800). I’m Japanese. The organs were surgically removed at age 22. I was tested to be free of venereal diseases. The organs were of normal function. I was not receiving female hormone treatment.”
‘First interested buyer will get them, or I will also consider selling to a group. Will prepare and cook as the buyer requests, at his chosen location. If you have questions, please contact me by DM or e-mail.’
Sugiyama also apparently had his nipples removed, but didn’t include them in the dish. What, was he saving them for desert?

This is a disturbed individual and trying to say that what they did was was done for a cause is just an idiotic justification.
Look most 22 year olds do stupid things in a quest for attention etc… that they regret later, but usually it’s a stupid tattoo or a relationship with the wrong person.

I feel so bad for this guy that whatever situation he finds himself in there was no support system to stop or discourage him from doing this.
I’m also amazed that cannibalism is not illegal, whether or not the person whose body parts are being consumed is ok with it or not. It is clearly an unhealthy practice which should be outlawed under any circumstances except perhaps the most extreme survival situations.
Lastly I must agree with Cam and Shannon. If this was some sort of attempt to raise awareness then the only thing it will attract is negative reinforcement and disgust. Might as well encourage pedophiles to write children’s books.

I agree that while he had a good cause to bring attention to, this was definitely way too weird of a way to do it. I could chop off my own foot and serve it to people to raise awareness about Type 2 diabetes but what good would that do? A lot of people would be grossed out and I’d be limping the rest of my life.

I see no difference between eating human genitalia and genitalia from other animals if cooked. Now brain is a different story and I would call it an “unhealthy practice”. When I hear “cannibalism” I think “dead person” so I wouldn’t call this instance cannibalism.
I wouldn’t participate in this meal but I’ll bet there are a number of individuals who would. I would fear that a black market in human genitalia would arise and we’d hear stories similar to those of people who had their kidneys stolen. For that reason I would outlaw the practice.
