Logo’s popular and defunct series Noah’s Arc has been given the go-ahead for the big screen. And in a showing of corporate nepotism solidarity, dreamy titular actor Darryl Stephens and series creator Patrik-Ian Polk took to Logo-owned AfterElton to announce the big news. [AfterElton]

I actually like this show. It’s funny and well done.

I could have been quite content had the CRAP show disappeared from human consciousness for all eternity. It was neither funny nor well done, and it was an embarrassment to all that is black and gay in America.

I never saw the show because I don’t get the channel but I saw Boy Culture and I have a crush on Darryl Stephens. (My name is really Noah by the way. . . )

Ew. That was one of the worst shows ever created and Darryl Stephens is one of the most atrocious actors I have ever had the misfortune of watching.

You guys are being too pretentious and harsh. It was what it was – a silly sitcom, and it WAS better than Will and Grace…

Great series but fashion was strangely Eurotrash! Let’s see if the Box Office limits opening screenings to prevent #1 Box Office Opening of a popular gay, black series transformed into film. I’d go for the drama and New York fashion but check movie time availability online first!

Darryl Stephens is so desperate for attention. He will go to the opening of an envelope. Horrible actor by the way.

My mother loved the show. She’ll be pleased with the news of a feature film.
The show was not great, but no worse than queer as folk, and at least people of color existed beyond being a sexual prop foor white queens.

@Todd:
Better than Will & Grace is good how?

Pretentious? maybe. Too harsh? Not at all.
Queer as Folk bored me with their issues-of-the-week, and I thought Will and Grace was as stupid as any sitcom out there. However, I could sit through an episode if I had to, and be polite if it was required. Noah’s Arc was like nails on chalkboard to me, and I only made it through ten minutes of one episode.

At least Noah got to make out with his boyfriends. All Will ever got was a chaste pat on the hand…

The concept for Noah’s Arc was great. The writing was NOT. The acting had to be ridiculous because the scripts were so over the top. Nobody seemed to have an idea of where the multiple subplots should go! The romances, the boss’ lesbian wife, the stalker…yuck.
I could go on and on about how annoying Noah is, calling his friends at all hours because he can’t make a decision about any damned thing in his life. And his wardrobe made Liberace look masculine. Yeesh.

I guess I have no taste because I loved both NA and QAF.
Logo hasn’t done any better than either. They shouldn’t have canceled a popular series and replaced it with… nothing!

I have loved the show since its birth and was disappointed when it was cancelled. I love the characters, the fashions, and the storylines. Noah is my favorite… he’s gorgeous!! I purchased seasons 1 & 2 on dvd. Last night, I drove to D.C. to see “Noah’s Arc: Jumping the Broom” and I loved it!!! Thanks P.I.P for staying true to the script and characters!!! I now have closure but if there is anything else in the works for the show or its characters… I’m there!! True “Noah’s Arc fan and supporter!!!
