On Saturday, November 5, thousands took to Buenos Aires’ famed Plaza de Mayo to celebrate the 20th Anniversary Buenos Aires Gay Pride Parade, known locally as the “Marcha del Orgullo” (“Pride March”).
Argentina has the strongest record on gay rights in South America—homosexuality was decriminalized way back in 1887 and both same-sex marriage and LGBT adoptions were legalized in 2010. But a number of participants carried signs in support of trans equality and the right to change gender on the national ID.

Argentinians can turn themselves into the most gay friendly country in the planet just to be number one on something. I love my country.

If you really love what you are, you would not be criticizing Argentina and would be happy to see that you promote something that includes you too, because people who live there and have different sexualities not understand politics and I doubt they are GAY only to be the best at something, so please think before you write better, thanks. Barbara. Argentina. and I’m heterosexual but I support this movement that I know what hard time being accepted.
