While Nemo threatened to shut down all of New York, the fashion show must inevitably go on.
The scene at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was more desolate than usual, with the would-be fashionistas and aspiring street style stars seeking shelter away from the 50 mph gusts and drifting snow.
On the runway, however, designers were ready to outfit the masses for whatever Mother Nature has in store for us.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Nautica’s fall 2013 collection was inspired by the nautical expeditions of the legendary Antarctic explorer, Sir Ernest Shackleton. Crafted with fisherman cables, novelty yarns and colored shearlings, the season’s Nautica man is ready for an adventure on the high seas, the ski trail or the mean, sleety, snow-covered streets.
