This is not a case of life imitating art.
Max Parker and Kris Mochrie are stars of the British soap opera Emmerdale, having played brothers Luke and Lee Posner, respectively.
Now the pair have confirmed they’re a happy couple
“It’s great to meet someone through work and have so many things in common and an understanding of each other’s jobs”, Mochrie told The Mirror.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Mochrie ended up leaving the show, but the two kept in touch (clearly).
“I don’t want to jinx things,” Mochrie added. “We are seeing how we get on. We had a great time on holiday in Dubai. Let’s see how it goes.”

He also shared what it was like to grow up with a warped sense of masculinity:
“Growing up in Liverpool I wrongly assumed that being gay was stripping every ounce of masculinity you had,” he said.
“I wanted to be like The Rock and I thought that’s what men had to be like.
“It was actually that toxic mantra that stopped me coming to terms with my sexuality.”
The couple initially sparked romantic rumors earlier this year, sharing photos of a trip to Dubai that looked slightly more than fraternal.
Here are some photos of the Instagram-ready duo:

Good for them, but frankly it never cease of amaze me how many gays think Dubai is a good place to go on holidays

I spent 7 years working in Kuwait and I will tell you one thing—I had more gay sex there than I ever have had here in the USA 🙂 Not with “locals” but with most other nationalities, some of which may surprise you–Egyptian, Yemeni, Saudi, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Indian. I also met men from the U.K. (mainly British military), Germans, French, and one little Irishman.
I wouldn’t mind going back to that part of the world, even as a gay man. I have more fear of encountering a loonie Trumpie in this country than I ever did living and working over there.

It also amazes me. In saying that, being a gay couple shouldn’t stop you from travelling to countries where being gay is illegal. Clearly they were safe about it, look at how they posed in their pics. No cuddles, kisses or any sign of a lovers affection. They could pass as brothers or even mates there. Been to Dubai, it’s definitely not my cup of tea. To the reply that thinks places like Kuwait are safer being gay than coming across a trump supporter, you clearly lived in the privileged suburbs in Kuwait where foreigners are generally protected & can live a more of a “western” lifestyle… e.g: drink alcohol, not dress conservatively etc etc. same goes for Dubai & many of those Middle Eastern countries.
Thank God for the west & the rights that we have in them…. that’s coming from an Australian by birth & a Lebanese by heritage.

My cousin and his life partner have lived in Dubai for 16 years so far, and they have loads of gay friends there. Maybe you aren’t aware of the scene?

Homosexuality is criminalized in Dubai. There are so many welcoming countries to vacation in. That said; glad you’ve found love with each other.

They seem nice. I don’t know who they are, though.

The article tells you who they are. They are actors on the British TV soap Emmerdale.

Can we make this true of the brother duo in Supernatural?

Relationships! My lifetime partner of 57 years, married 15 years, lived the American dream! Love conquered all, sex was a private thing!

They lost me at Dubai. LGBT criminalization aside (tho that should be plenty), they use slave labor and have a disregard for the environment that would make Rex Tillerson blush.
