Megan Mullally paid a visit to Stephen Colbert on Thursday’s episode of The Late Show, where she related a story about a Christmas party she attended at the White House.
Shortly before the event, she offhandedly told her husband she was probably going to lose it upon meeting President Obama. She knows herself well.

Mullally said she was at the end of a receiving line meeting the President.
“We happened to be the very last people,” she says, discussing the line to meet the President.
And, so he shook my hand and he made a joke and he was charming and amazing, and I said, ‘Listen, um, I really love you and we don’t want you to go.’ And he gave me a hug and he said, ‘We’re not going anywhere.’”

That’s when the tears came.
And he walked out the door. And, I mean, I’m not talking about the cute single tear. Burst into wrenching sobs. Doubled over. Nick had to get out his handkerchief and sort of block me from view because I was embarrassing myself. But, you know, I mean, that’s the greatest president and first lady in any of our lifetimes.”

She’ll always be Karen! Love her…

No wonder why his ratings are in the tank.

@Alistair Wiseman: I rarely make comments on this site but I find your posts to be downright tiring. I can’t wait to hear what you have to say when some of the rights that we now enjoy are slowly stripped away.
Mo Bro
The “greatest president and first lady in any of our lifetimes”??
Typical Hollywood lefty whose naïveté is mind-blowing.
@D_Albert:
Nobody’s right’s are going to be stripped away, Al—that fear is just the scare tactics of liberal propaganda you’re allowing to occupy your brain, nothing more. Best to ignore the doomsayers.

At age 61, I feel the same way as Megan Mullally. The First Lady and President Obama are the greatest people to live in the White House since I can remember. President Obama did more for the rights of people in same-sex relationships than all other presidents put together.

@Alistair Wiseman: Oh sure a 54% job approval rating is “in the tank.”
Seems like the only thing “in the tank” is your comprehension of the truth.

I’m glad his approval rating went back up a little, mostly because so many realized how good we had it once clinton and trump started taking center stage.

@porque_loco:
Speaking of “comprehension”, I was speaking of Colbert’s ratings, not Obama’s. Try and keep up.
ErikO
@esslar: No they’re not. Obama was one of the most Conservative presidents we have had in decades, and despite what he claims he’s NOT for LGBT rights or equal rights, and he and his “wife” are r a c i s t, and both supported DOMA, and completely supported the Patriot act and renewing it.
porque_loco
@Alistair Wiseman: Well, in that case… you’re still wrong. Colbert is ahead of Kimmel for the season in 18-49s AND in total viewers.
Try and keep up with reality and not just whatever fits your talking points.

Hollywood liberal starts bawling uncontrollably after meeting Obama. I believe it. I’ll bet she wet her panties as well.

Why respond to “that troll?” Ignore him like a stinky fart; he’ll eventually fade away into the air.

@ErikO:
Hey idiot. WHO is the most Liberal president who advocated for LGBT rights?
