If your idea of charity work is overtipping the Uber driver after a boozy brunch, Ricky Martin‘s weekend is going to make you seriously rethink your life goals.
After weeks of speculation, Ricky Martin debuted his smokin’ hot new beau on the amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) red carpet and raised $90,000 for the charity. The beau is Syrian artist Jwan Yosef who, from the looks of his Instagram page, is very broody and artsy.
The Latin Times has the scoop on Yosef. He was born in Syria and lives in London, is obsessed with Tumblr, and of course has something to say about the Syrian refugee situation:
“It’s hard not to be affected by the situation in Syria, especially when coming from Syria. But it’s hard to say now how that has affected my work when I’m in the middle of it.”
When Ricky was finished making everyone else jealous on the red carpet, he used his lips to raise some serious cash for amfAR. Pet resort owner Ana Paola Diniz bid $90,000 for a smooch with Martin, and from the looks of the photos she certainly got her money’s worth.

I was just reading that article from the Latin Times yesterday. One of the “13 things to know” about Jwan was “He likes it super raw….his meat cooking level” Oh boy…I see what they did there. @Brian: Uh… Try looking at them with your eyes rather than your assumptions and prejudices. They look nothing like each other except for similarity in height and a dimpled (though otherwise very different) chin. Their noses, eyes, facial shape, and hair color are hardly similar. And i am willing to bet they are considerably better looking than you

@dwes09: It’s usually people who are unattractive who make the most demeaning, derogatory comments. I unfortunately know someone who feels the need to put down anybody who is good looking because he’s such a loser in the looks department himself. I’m pretty sure that Brian eats Alpo for dinner.
