New details of a stabbing/suicide that took place last spring near Yale University paint a confusing and sexually ambiguous picture of the students involved, according to documents from the New Haven Police Department.
In late May, the college town was shocked when Yale graduate and conservative activist Tyler Carlisle stabbed his friend, undergraduate Alexander Michaud, in his apartment, then jumped out of his ninth-story window to his death.
Details were sparse at the time, and nobody close to Tyler could determine the cause of the incident.
That is, until a recently surfaced police report filled in the context.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
The two male students, it turns out, were not alone at the time of the crime. They were having a threesome with an unnamed female Yale undergrad.
Carlisle apparently grew jealous of the attention she was giving Michaud, prompting the attack and subsequent suicide.
Gawker reports that, “Both men grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire and were members of Yale’s Party of the Right, a hardcore right-wing division of the campus debating society.”
People who knew them gave no indication that any sexual relationship was ever rumored.
According to a police interview:
The three of them were having sex in the bedroom, and Carlisle started to get jealous of Michaud and [redacted]. Carlisle grabbed a knife that was on the nightstand next to the bed. Carlisle stabbed Michaud in the neck area. Michaud does not remember how he got to the living room. Michaud sat on the chair in the living room and told [redacted] to call “911.” [Redacted] grabbed a white t-shirt and held it to Michaud’s neck to stop the bleeding. Carlisle then went to the living room and started pacing back and forth, saying “I’m sorry.” Carlisle sat on the window sill and said he was going to jump. Michaud did not see Carlisle jump out of the window.
Why a knife was on the nightstand in the first place may never be known.

This is a sad story, but I still can’t help but be amazed at the large number of “conservative, right-wing” people who get caught in questionable (as defined by said conservative, right-wingers) situations.

So a couple of young conservatives engage in an act of sexual perversity, and then one of them follows that with an act of violence followed by an act of suicide. Oh My!
It’s almost as if these conservatives (even the young ones) don’t even bother to read their philosophical press releases anymore, much less live by what they claim to believe in.
I’m guessing the dead guy (and his bisexual-ish sidekick) are against same sex marriage, against sex before marriage, and against sleeping in on Sundays while skipping church. Yeah… nice job, dumbass.

Hypocrites. All of them.

Let me see if I can reconstruct this somehow. Tyler can’t get this girl on his own merit so he brings in Alexander. When the pants drop to the floor, said female looks at Tyler and chuckles and then to Alexander and says “oh my.” Things start to progress and Tyler insists said female give him some oral attention at least to which she say…..gurl I don’t like toothpicks I’d rather brush my teeth. Alexander is taking her to another realm and Tyler gets pissed [most republican types do when things don’t go their way] and stabs Alexander. Said female says to Tyler…you needle dick, I had another nutt ready. Tyler then moves on to resolve his sexual conflict in the only way he knows how since he has heard this many times before……[i.e. looks like a clit] and offs himself.

Typical. Right wing nut cases… all ends in a stabbing. Right wingers who are against gay people, yet engaging in hypocritical activity behind closed doors.

This is what the young right-wing girls at Yale are up to?

Yale. Psshhh. MIT? Now THOSE are the guys who you wanna FUCK.

So what happened besides someone going crazy and stabbing their friend and deciding to kill themselves?
Xzamilio
@Glücklich: Love the Family Guy reference… and even as former Army, I have to admit that downrange in Iraq and Afghanistan, there wasn’t a marine I didn’t encounter that I didn’t want to fuck.

Only right-wingers could ruin a dream scenario like a mixed threesome. Tragic.

@Stephen Meeks: I’m not. They all seem to use their regressive ideology as a means of refuge from their own depravity, and obviously, it never works.
BJ McFrisky
Question: This is a gay issue in exactly what regard?
Answer: None whatsoever. Queerty just hears the term “right-wing” and goes into attack mode.
Keepin’ it classy as always, Q-guys.

@BJ McFrisky: Um, this article was attacking someone who is highly conservative (and against gay people)? It is exposing the endless hypocrisy of the right wing. Maybe you could actually use little peanut sized brain for a change.

@Xzamilio:
Yeah there’s that ha ha! I’m more into the Navy myself.
And I’ve always admired MIT more than I have Yale. Sloan’s a little more “now” than YSM, which I associate with “white shoe.”

@Giancarlo85: THANK YOU!
