Sean Hayes Forced to Once Again Care About Ramin Setoodeh’s Inept Writing Skills
By · 8 comments
“It’s a five-hour conversation of how asinine that statement is,” Sean Hayes told The View gals about Ramin Setoodeh’s Newsweek blunder. “I don’t think he knew what his point was.”
And then they got to Rue. Whew.
Don't forget to share:
Help make sure LGBTQ+ stories are being told...
We can't rely on mainstream media to tell our stories. That's why we don't lock Queerty articles behind a paywall. Will you support our mission with a contribution today?
Ugh, the one thing I HATE about that writer from Newsweek, is that he made me defend Sean Hayes. After Hayes was such an emense, entitled, douchebag when he came out the LAST thing I want to do is take his side on anything. However, that writer was a self hating tool, and self hating tool beats out emense entitled douchebag in this round.
Very true K — Hayes is a crappy, shitty actor. The clueless Newsweek writer was basing his theory of gays not being able to play straights convincingly, based solely on Sean’s shitty acting??? Makes no sense. Ever see any interviews with Cheyenne? That boy is quite the lady — but when he acts, he doesn’t show that one bit cuz he’s a good & talented actor. Sean got very, very lucky w/Will & Grace & surely he knows that. He’s also a big jerk & I for one will not defend him EVER.
I hope Kristin Chenoweth appears again as April on Glee.
I keep having all these gay fantasies about who they could have on next season: Cher, Mary J. Blige, Natalie Maines. Glee is the gayest show on TV and I love it.

If anybody would be an expert on being inept, Sean would know from personal experience.

@Random — I’d say you should take a good look in the mirror, you got the wrong guy.

As bad as Setoodeh’s writing was, he did have a point that Hayes is just a bad actor. The play sucked. period.
