RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 1 alum Tammie Brown is known for her kooky personality and her catchphrase “Walking Children in Nature,” which inspired the title for her funky new music video featuring Michael Catti (a member of her three-piece band ‘Rollz Royces’ that also includes Kelly Mantle). The song comes off of her avant-garde sophomore album ‘Hot Skunx‘ that was released in early April.

The full quote that inspired this song, “I don’t see you out walking children in nature and taking care of old ladies!” was from the reunion episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 1. Tammie said this while calling out RuPaul and Santino Rice for their “tyranny” on the show.

The lyrics of the song are very pro-activism and include lines such as “We gotta get up and fight, that’s right because there may not be a later, if we don’t do something right now we won’t be walking children in nature” and “Let’s take us a stand, let’s make us a plan, this if for a universal unity.”

This music video includes a collection of animated animals, including an orca whale (killer whale). Tammie often posts orca captivity cruelty information on her Facebook page and she has taken a strong stance against major organizations including the aquatic-themed amusement park Sea World.
